I am currently looking for new opportunities in the internet industry. I have eight years experience in designing and producing websites from small to medium sized businesses with budgets from £ 2k - 100k to large public sector organisations with budgets in excess of £ 200k.

I am currently working as a Web Producer and Information Services Consultant for a Microsoft Gold Partner. The company specialises in providing Microsoft Content Management solutions, in particular Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. It is also necessary to integrate other Microsoft products into the systems which I design and specify such as Info Path, Active Directory, Content Management Server 2003, SQL Server. It is also a requirement to understand and integrate non Microsoft legacy products too.

In the execution of my duties I am also responsible for the Information Architecture of the sites I design. Paying particular attention to best practice usability techniques providing intuitive navigation systems and logical site layouts and architecture.

Following the architecture and planning stage I am also involved in the physical design of websites. Either completing the finished graphic designs myself or providing clear design briefs and managing the production. I am very experienced in graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and Flash.

To further compliment these graphic design skills I am also able to program PHP, My SQL and I am currently studying ActionScript 2 Object Oriented programming for Flash. I am also well experienced in programming XHTML and CSS to required industry standards (non table layouts), all of which are also validated to the appropriate W3C accessibility standard required for a particular project.
